CJSC «Technoparkinvest-Kuzbass»

CJSC «Technoparkinvest-Kuzbass» was founded in 2008. It is aimed at participating in developing new high-technology businesses together with Kuzbass Technopark. The main concerns of the enterprise are:

• advanced coal processing — producing highly marketable coal products at the mining area;
• extracting methane from coal beds to improve safety of second workings and tunneling;
• developing mining machinery manufacturing;
• solving ecological problems.

At present, a project of energotechnological coal cluster «Seraphimovsky» including advanced coal processing is being developed together with Kemerovo Science Centre, Institute of Coal and Coal Fuel Chemistry of SB RAS, Institute «Kompamash-TEK», Krasnoyarsk Engineering Plant with the assistance of Department of Energy and Regional development of the Russian Federation. Efficiency of the project will be reached due to a set of associated projects: building a highly mechanized mine with annual capacity up to 8 million tons, coal preparatory plant, developing technologies of advanced coal processing by gasification on the base of domestic rocket building experience.

Realization of the project ensures not only production of assorted coal grades but also that of heat and electrical power, the surplus of which will be sold, production of coal fuel products including synthetic liquid fuel.
