LLC «Karagaylinskoye Mine Management Office»

LLC «Karagaylinskoye Mine Management Office» is in the course of construction. The project is aimed at increasing production and enriching coal grade composition. When completely constructed it will be a modern mine with high level of mechanization of production processes, proper safety arrangements and precautions, having on-site washing plant and loading complex.

The construction occupies the subsurface site which was previously owned by «Karagailinskaya» closed mine. The economic reserves of LLC «Karagaylinskoye Mine Management Office» are estimated at 38.31 million tons of coking coal of Fa grade, reserves at appended sites make up 25 million tons.

It is planned that the mine will achieve its productive capacity of 2 million tons of coal in 2013. In 2008 having worked out the project documentation, the company started the construction of four inclines and surface facilities as well as overburden operations for open mining at the previously discard sites.

Construction of a concentration plant which is to provide high quality coal started in 2008.
