LLC «Gramoteinskie CEMW»

LLC «Gramoteinskie CEMW» started its work in October 1976 within Gramoteinskoye Mine Management Office. In the challenging times for the coal industry the enterprise changed its owner. In 2004 the CEMW was bought by OJSC «Zarechnaya Mine» which developed a modernization program and aimed the enterprise at producing quality support able to provide safety of mine workings at a mining enterprise with underground winning. Since 2004 28 new machine tools have been purchased within the modernization program. Average monthly turnover of the enterprise has increased by several times.

Today the CEMW carry out metal working, make arced supports and metal boltings, monorail and point elements, carry out complete overhaul of electric motors. In 2009 new production was started in the workshop — a line producing grid for reinforcing mine workings was purchased, run in and put into operation.

At present a fabrication shop is being built. It will have new machinery for producing arced support, two welding departments, a production and repair line for point switches and other monorail elements for the mines of the coal company «Zarechnaya».

The buildings and premises of the enterprise have been redecorated; new boiler house has been put into operation.

More than 70 new jobs have been created since 2004 as the number of workers grew from 63 to 134 people. It is very important for small local areas where employment is a vexed problem.
